Ryan Hohman JD, MPA, serves as Director, Communications & Policy of Friends of Cancer Research (Friends), a cancer research think tank and advocacy organization based in the Washington, D.C. area. Working with the entire cancer research and advocacy community, Friends pioneers innovative public-private partnerships, organizes critical policy forums, educates the public, and brings together key stakeholders to overcome the barriers standing between patients and the most promising cancer treatments.

Before joining Friends, Mr. Hohman was Director of Corporate and Institutional Partnerships at Georgetown University's Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. While at Georgetown, Ryan focused on the development and execution of strategic corporate and philanthropic engagement to support the center’s biomedical research and cancer treatment
