1. American Association for Cancer Research

  • Funding provided to junior faculty at the level of Assistant Professor, Instructor, Research Assistant Professor, Postdoctoral fellows or clinical fellows in the 3rd, 4th, or 5th, year of by the start of the grant term and Junior faculty from countries where opportunities for scientific advancement are limited

 2. American Cancer Society

  •  Independent Investigators- Preclinical, Clinical and Epidemiology Research, Cancer Control: Psychosocial and Behavioral Research, Cancer Control: Health Services and Health Policy Research, Beginning and Senior Investigators (ROG), Institutional Research Grants for junior investigators

 3. American Institute for Cancer Research

Investigator-Initiated Grants

  • Grant for new research specific to dietary influence on cancer

Post Doctoral Grant Awards

  • Grant provided to beginning investigators
  • Supports innovative research on cancer prevention, etiology or treatment by dietary or nutritional methods

Matching Grants

  • Funds research projects with matching support from for-profit corporations
  • Research in diet, nutrition and cancer

 The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, Inc

  • Funds basic and translational ovarian cancer research
  • Emphasis on early detection, prevention, molecular therapeutics, cancer biology and genetics

 

4. American Society of Clinical Oncology

  • Oncology research with direct patient-orientated focus
  • Young Investigator Award or Clinical Research Career Development Awards

5. Cancer Research Institute

Investigator Award Program

  • Granted to an assistant professor undertaking first independent investigation in cancer immunology or general immunology

Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

  • Supports qualified young scientists at leading universities and research centers
  • Cancer immunology or general immunology research

Designated Grants Program

  • AIDS Program- Research in AIDS effect on immune system
  • Concern Foundation Program- Non-specific cancer research
