Pamela Riker serves as Senior Development Manager Friends of Cancer Research (Friends), a cancer research think tank and advocacy organization based in Washington, DC. Working with the entire cancer research and advocacy community, Friends pioneers innovative public‐private partnerships, organizes critical policy forums, educates the public, and brings together key stakeholders to overcome the barriers standing between patients and the most promising cancer treatments.
Ms. Riker has over ten years of fundraising experience working for national non-profits. Prior to joining Friends, she served as Manager of Major Donor Outreach at the United Service Organizations (USO) dealing with major gifts, planned giving and foundation gifts. Before joining the USO, she was the Director of the DC and San Francisco based AIDS Marathon Training Program, raising over $3 million each year for HIV/AIDS service providers. Her fundraising expertise includes major gifts, planned gifts, corporate giving, individual giving, fundraising events and direct mail campaigns.
Ms. Riker has resided in Arlington, VA for over ten years since graduating from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. |
